L’Ukraine rejects an American proposal to resume Russian energy transit
During talks in Florida on October 9, Ukrainian representatives reportedly rejected Steve Witkoff’s proposal to resume Russian gas and oil transit through Ukraine. Witkoff also urged Kyiv to accept Donald Trump’s diesel agreement and halt strikes on Russian refineries. A preliminary trilateral meeting with the United States and Russia is planned for Abu Dhabi, although its exact date has not been set.
