Ukrainian anti-corruption investigators detain senior SBU official during armed search
Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau and Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office searched and detained senior SBU official Serhii Duka as part of the “Carthage” operation. Investigators allege that Duka threatened detectives with a pistol, destroyed electronic devices and received nearly $3 million in crypto assets linked to efforts to release seized funds of the “Khimprom” drug syndicate.
